Basics For General Maintenance

  351 Machine Guarding

 381 Introduction to Hand Tools: Part 1

 384 Basic Rigging

 385 Slings

registerCovers the characteristics, advantages, and limitations of the three basic types of slings. Additionally, the learner will discuss the basic principles of using, storing, and maintaining slings.

 386 Scaffolds

registerCovers the two main types of scaffolds, supported and suspension scaffolds, and their major components. It also discusses how to construct scaffolds up to OSHA’s general scaffold specifications, safety factors for scaffold inspection, and important procedures regarding scaffold safety.

 417 Control Valves and Actuators

 432 Pressure Leak Testing Methods for Piping/Tubing

registerExamines hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, which are the primary pressure leak test methods . The course also takes a brief look at less common pressure leak test methods.

 448 Controller Basics

registerDiscusses process variables, measurement, control loops, and process control in petrochemical facilities.
